Hello, I am Ann Keeler Evans – Peacemaker, priestess poet – and author of the Peacemaker’s Tarot for the 21st Century and the Peacemaker’s Tarot Major Arcana deck. I’m reading on this first Bright Moon of 2026 to see what wisdom is offered us on this moon that I’ve been calling the Hearts Full of Peace Moon.
Tonight is night three, and we’re invited to Commit to helping the moon shine her wisdom into this world. And the wisdom we’re invited to understand that we have, and it’s often hidden in the darkness because the moon does that, but we have to look carefully because what is this one? [XIX] Power.
I keep hearing that song in my head: “People have the power…” to change. We have the power to change. Our relationship with power really matters. Society is built on inequalities of power, and exclude increasing numbers of people – but we have a say in that. We have our own power, because the people have the power. We’re still set up that way. Let’s act while we can.
We act in a couple different ways. We generate power because we have voices that swell and we have communities that build. And we share it every place we go, we share the power, and that really is the message, I believe for this coming year. We share the power. We need to understand that, and then we need to do it.
So we need to reach across as much space as we can, in as many ways as we can, to understand that we have the power. We’re pretty fabulous. Let’s remember this.
